Description
Camassia leichtlinii Caerulea is a tall blue camassia that performs strongly in meadows, damp borders and naturalistic spring planting. It is a very useful bulb for councils, horticulturists and landscape gardeners looking to introduce height, rhythm and pollinator value without resorting to overly formal planting. The starry florets open progressively up the stem, giving a longer period of interest and good movement through larger schemes. In bulk it is highly effective in parks, estates and broad landscape drifts.
