Camassia cusickii

Camassia cusickii

Description

Camassia cusickii produces a tall raceme that is studded with purply-blue starlike flowers, yellow stamen and green centres on top of long upright leaves. These spires will grow in full to partial sun in moist, well-drained gardens, meadows, banks, slopes, borders or beds or containers to create a striking display. Makes a beautiful underplanting for roses and shrubs. Very suitable for naturalising. Combines well with Allium and Iris.
