Scilla siberica 7/8

Scilla siberica 7/8

Description

Scilla siberica has spikes of small intense blue, nodding, bell-shaped flowers above slender strap-like leaves and purplish stems. It combines excellently with early daffodils, crocuses, chionodoxa, and puschkinia. This blue plant prefers direct sun, but can tolerate some shade and moist, but well drained soil in gardens, wildflower meadows, beds, borders, edging, rock gardens or underplanting of roses or shrubs. Plant Scilla siberica en masse in woodland, wild or naturalized areas.
