Description

Scillla mischtschenkoana, or early or white squill, grows short reacemes of star-like pale blue flowers with a darker vein along the length of the petals and has strappy green leaves. This heirloomplant prefers direct sun, but can tolerate some shade and moist, but well drained soil and can be planated along the coast, in gardens, wildflower meadows, beds, borders, edging, rock or gravel gardens. Beautiful in planters and containers. Can be planted en masse in woodlands.
