Organic Narcissus triandrus Thalia

Organic Narcissus triandrus Thalia

Graceful white heritage daffodil with nodding blooms. Lightly fragrant and ideal for woodland and biodiversity schemes.

Description

Organic Narcissus triandrus Thalia is a classic white-flowered daffodil of timeless elegance. Each 35–45 cm stem bears up to three gracefully nodding, star-shaped flowers with narrow, reflexed petals and a slim fluted trumpet. Its pristine white colour, airy habit, and light fragrance make it one of the most refined cultivars for woodland margins, church gardens, and white-themed public spaces.

Flowering in mid to late spring, Thalia prefers humus-rich, well-drained soil and is highly adaptable to both full sun and partial shade. It is particularly effective when used in conservation-focused schemes, memorial gardens, and civic beds where calm visual tone and biodiversity support are both valued. The flowers are lightly scented and offer good access to short-tongued pollinators, making it valuable for early biodiversity efforts.

Pair beautifully with Muscari latifolium, Camassia leichtlinii, or white tulips such as Calgary or Royal Virgin for a cohesive, tranquil bulb layer.
