Description

Muscari armeniacum (Grape Hyacinths) is a strong spring bulb with a radiant blue colour and narrow, green leaves. This plant resembles a bunch of grapes crossed with hyacinth. Planted in a sunny to partially sunny, well draining soil in borders, gardens, gravel or rock gardens, wildflower meadows or naturalised in grass, this flower will be an exuberant bloomer with 3 to 5 flower stems per bulb. Can be planted by the edge of a woodland or under roses or deciduous shrubs. Muscari makes wonderful ground cover and can be planted in containers or pots. Bee friendly.
