Description
Fritillaria imperialis Aurora is a bold architectural bulb with blazing orange pendant flowers arranged in a crown formation beneath a leafy tuft. Towering up to 1.2 metres, this variety flowers in mid-spring and provides vital early nectar for bees and pollinators emerging from dormancy.
In Irish landscapes, Aurora thrives in full sun with deep, fertile, well-drained soils. Ideal for structural impact in formal borders, naturalistic drifts, or rural garden designs, especially when paired with Allium Early Emperor, or naturalised Camassia leichtlinii.
