Description
Fritillaria Green Eyes is a rare and captivating variety that produces dusky green blooms brushed with deep purple and bronze tones. These pendulous, bell-shaped flowers bloom in early spring and attract bees and hoverflies looking for early forage. Standing 40–60 cm tall, it works beautifully in gravel gardens, mixed herbaceous borders, or woodland edges.
In Irish conditions, it thrives in free-draining soil with good winter moisture and benefits from being left undisturbed. Pair it with moody companions like Tulip Queen of Night, Tulip Purple Pride’, or through a sea of Muscari Night Eyes.
