Description
Erythronium revolutum White Beauty is a refined woodland bulb prized for its elegant white, lily-like flowers with gracefully reflexed petals and a yellow base. Blooming in mid-spring, each flower sits atop slender stems above striking marbled foliage. A superb naturaliser in moist, shaded environments, it brings light and movement to woodland gardens, shady borders, and dappled under-storey plantings.
Native to the Pacific Northwest, E. revolutum is adapted to cool, damp, humus-rich soil and performs best beneath deciduous trees or along shaded water margins. Landscapers favour this variety for long-term naturalised installations, where it spreads gently and increases year after year with little maintenance.
Pair with Anemone nemorosa, and ferns for layered woodland interest and early-season pollinator value.
