Description
Erythronium Pagoda is a robust, award-winning cultivar prized for its elegant, nodding yellow blooms with gracefully reflexed petals and bronze-streaked, lance-shaped foliage. Flowering in mid-spring, it brings light and movement to shaded borders and woodland-style planting schemes.
More vigorous than most Erythroniums, Pagoda establishes quickly and forms reliable clumps when planted in humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil. Landscapers favour it for naturalising beneath deciduous trees, along north-facing walls, or in low-maintenance perennial beds where seasonal interest is needed early in the year.
Its bright blooms contrast well with spring anemones, pulmonarias, ferns, and other shade-loving companions. It’s also an excellent pollinator-friendly option for biodiversity planting.
