Description

Eremurus stenophyllus (Bungei), or Narrow-Leaved Foxtail Lily, is a spike of densely packed, small, bright yellow, star-like flowers with a cump of strappy leaves. The flowers open progressively from bottom to top with the lower flowers having longer stems, shortening as they get closer to the top, giving them a spikey shape. Plant in sunny, sandy, well drained sheltered areas of gardens, prairies, banks, slopes, borders, beds or gravel gardens.
