Description
Crocus Golden Yellow lives up to its name, delivering vibrant, cup-shaped blooms in clear, saturated gold. Flowering from early March, this large Dutch crocus cultivar provides instant cheer and visibility in public planting schemes, schools, and domestic gardens alike. It’s particularly suited to naturalising in lawn margins, verges, and sunny mixed borders where its height and strength allow it to punch through competitive groundcover.
Golden Yellow makes a striking foil for the cool blues of Muscari or the lilac tones of Crocus tommasinianus, and contrasts beautifully with Scilla bifolia Rosea in more curated garden schemes. It also performs well with early-flowering dwarf narcissus for bright, low-maintenance municipal displays.
