Description

A native Irish wildflower, low-growing Anemone Nemorosa, or Wood Anemone, bears delicate white flowers, possiblly with a blush of pink, a green centre and yellow stamen. The stem of this plant is flexible allowing the flower to bend in the wind and it has deeply cut leaves adding a richness to the display. This plant thrives in shaded, moist but well drained areas in borders, beds, or containers. Is well suited for underplanting of roses and shrubs.
