Description
Allium Globemaster is a real showstopper in the late spring garden. With massive, round flower heads packed with hundreds of tiny, violet-purple florets, this allium stands tall and proud on strong stems that reach up to 90cm. Each bloom can measure up to 20–25cm across – that’s some serious flower power.
Perfect for adding height, structure, and drama to mixed borders or contemporary planting schemes, Globemaster also attracts bees and butterflies in droves. It thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, and it’s ideal for planting in groups or dotted among perennials for maximum effect.
These hardy bulbs flower in May and June, and their dried seed heads even look good long after the colour fades.
