Description

The large purple flowers of Ambassador are more than 20 cm in diameter and make it one of the most striking ornamental onions. These round blooms stand on strong, thick, straight stems with strappy leaves. Ambassador is best planted in full sun in gardens, borders and beds. Can be placed between perennials or between low-growing shrubs. Wonderful cut flower. This allium attracts butterflies and bees during flowering. Suitable for naturalising.
