Allium christophii

Allium christophii

Large Flowering

Description

An allium with round flower heads up to 20 cm in diameter. The bloom consists of many star-shaped flowers in a striking light lilac colour, atrracting butterflies and bees. Even after flowering, it can remain beautiful as a dried flower. The leaves die off fairly quickly, so they are best placed between low-growing perennials. Taking the size of the flowers into account, do not place the bulbs too close together. Allium christophii can also be planted in pots. Suitable for naturalising.
