Nectaroscordum siculum

Nectaroscordum siculum

Description

Nectaroscordum Siculum, also known as Sicilian honey garlic, is a striking, late spring flowering allium variety. The plant consists of dozens of large, nodding white to cream-coloured flowers, with flushes of pink or purplish red, and tinged with green at the base. Decorative seed pods become erect as the flowers fade. Plant in sunny, well drained areas in gravel gardens, borders or meadows. This allium attracts butterflies and bees during flowering.
