Description
Galanthus Mount Everest is a strong snowdrop selection valued for larger white flowers and a clear, elegant presence in late winter and very early spring. It is particularly useful where professional planting needs to show clean definition from a distance, whether in drifts beneath deciduous trees, along woodland paths, through managed lawns or in sheltered estate and hotel gardens. Snowdrops are one of the earliest bulbs to flower and play an important role in supporting pollinating insects on mild days when very little else is available. This gives them genuine biodiversity value as well as ornamental appeal. In Irish conditions this variety is especially effective in naturalised settings where the bulbs can spread into a broad and convincing carpet over time. The result is a restrained but highly valuable early season display that signals the start of spring and adds depth to long term landscape planting.
