Description

Double late Yellow Pompenette is a large, peony-like tulip with golden yellow flowerheads on tall stems with lance-like shaped, green leaves. Plant in single variety groups in a sunny, well drained spot in beds, borders, gardens, pots, or use in cut flower arrangments. This long lasting bloom makes eye-appealing combinations with other late doubles such as Black Hero, Icoon or Red Princess or with other garden varieties, such as Muscari armeniacum.
