Description

Tulip Shining Parrot has rich red, wavy rounded petals, with darker red markings on the outside of the flower. This flower is quite large and when in full sun, will open very wide, to the point of almost being completely flat and can be planted in full sun with good drainage but will last longer in partially shaded areas. Plant with other parrot tulips, such as Estella Rijnveld or Black Parrot in beds, borders or containers to add and contrast or combine with Ipheion Castillo to add colour and height.
