Description
Tulip puchella ‘Persian Pearl’ is a striking species tulip, prized for its vivid colouring and natural resilience. With deep magenta-pink petals and a contrasting golden-yellow centre, it brings early-season drama to rockeries, gravel gardens, and informal plantings.
This botanical tulip stays compact (10–15 cm tall) and opens wide in full sun, making it ideal for mass planting in sunny sites or front-of-border schemes. Hardy and reliable, it naturalises well and is a valuable addition to wildlife-friendly projects and low-maintenance landscapes. Pair it with crocus, muscari and/or anemone blanda for an early season show.
