Description

Johann Strauss is a sturdy, compact plant with cream flowers that are flushed with red, and have yellow on the inside base and outside tips atop blue-green leaves mottled with a muted purple. Thrives in a sunny, well-drained area in border fronts, flower beds, gardens, edging or in pots and containers. Being one of the earlier bloomers, it combines nicely with small-flowering violets.
