Description

Tulip Jimmy is a lively and spirited Triumph tulip whose colouring brings instant warmth to mid-spring plantings. Each bloom opens in a rich, sunlit orange, with petals dramatically edged and feathered in scarlet red, giving a painterly, flame-like effect. At the heart of the flower lies a warm yellow base that intensifies the inner glow when sunlight passes through. This interplay of fiery tones makes Jimmy a natural focal point in beds, borders, and container groupings.

Growing to 35–40 cm, it is proportioned for both municipal planting and private garden use, with stems sturdy enough to handle Ireland’s often unsettled spring weather — from blustery Atlantic winds to cold, damp spells — without toppling or bruising.
