Description
Double Late Tulip Finola is a refined, luminous late-season tulip used for planting where the display needs softness, flower volume and gentle colour movement. It gives a different effect from darker double tulips such as Dream Touch, using pale pink, white and occasional green tones to create a lighter, more romantic spring scheme. The flowers are fully double and peony-like, opening in white and palest pink before deepening towards stronger pink as the bloom develops.
Finola is best used where a softer, premium display is required rather than a strong block of colour. It suits hotel entrances, estate borders, wedding venue gardens, civic planters, courtyard containers, public garden beds, commercial frontages and formal seasonal planting. The full flower form gives enough weight for grouped planting, while the pale colour range keeps the display elegant and understated. Because double late tulips have large, full flowers, Finola is best placed in managed beds, sheltered borders and planters rather than exposed verge schemes.
Finola combines well with white narcissus, blue muscari, cream tulips, soft lilac tulips, pale apricot tulips, dark purple tulips and late alliums.
