Description

Tulip Dream Touch is a richly coloured double late tulip combining deep plum-purple petals with finely edged silvery white margins. Flowering in late spring on sturdy 35 to 40 cm stems, it delivers textural impact and moody elegance to formal spring planting schemes. Its luxurious tones and long vase life also make it ideal for premium cut flower production, boutique floristry, or high-end residential displays.

Best planted in full sun to light dappled shade, Dream Touch thrives in fertile, free-draining soil. It is an excellent performer in raised beds, hotel courtyard gardens, spring cutting patches, rooftop displays, and premium planters for event spaces and retail zones. In compacted soils, dig in organic compost and horticultural sand for improved drainage.

It pairs particularly well with ivory tulips like Ice Cream, or the pastel tones of Tulip Pink Star. Interplant with Allium karataviense, or early flowering hostas for textural contrast. Though not a strong nectar source due to its tightly layered form, its large, bowl-shaped flowers retain warmth and serve as a temporary refuge for early pollinators during cool spring spells.
