Description
Multiflora Tulip Candy Club creates a fuller tulip display from each planted bulb. The main advantage of Candy Club is its multi-flowering habit. Rather than relying on a single bloom per bulb, it can produce two or three flowers from each bulb, with some supplier descriptions noting several flowers on each stem. This gives a grouped planting a fuller look and makes the variety especially useful for containers, front-of-border displays, civic planters and close-view planting.
The colour develops as the flowers mature. Blooms start creamy white with a fine pink flush, then strengthen into richer pink tones, so the same planting can show white, blush, pink and deep pink at once.
Tulip Candy Club is best used where its multi-headed habit and colour change can be appreciated at close range. It suits hotel entrances, courtyard containers, civic planters, estate paths, public garden edges, business frontages and premium mixed bulb displays. It is less suited to rough grass or distant verge planting, where the individual flower clusters would be harder to see.
Candy Club combines well with white narcissus, pale pink tulips, blue muscari, cream tulips, purple tulips and late spring alliums
