Tulip Cabanna

Tulip Cabanna

A creamy yellow fringed tulip for mid-spring borders and containers. Great for statement displays and elegant plantings.

Description

Tulip Cabanna is a striking fringed tulip that offers unusually exotic colouration—creamy white petals softly infused with buttery yellow and finished with a crystalline, finely fringed edge. Flowering in mid to late spring (late April to early May), it grows to 45–55 cm and brings a playful elegance to contemporary borders, premium planters, and high-spec floral displays.

Ideal for full sun in fertile, free-draining soil with neutral to alkaline pH. Particularly suited to urban show gardens, modern spring bedding, and boutique hospitality settings where floral drama is welcomed. Its refined two-tone palette makes it highly versatile, especially when paired with darker tulips like Negrita or tonal companions such as Tulip Avant Garde and pale yellow Narcissus.

While not strongly fragrant, the semi-open form and fringed texture attract visual interest and support occasional hoverfly visits—particularly in mixed biodiversity beds.

Cabanna is ideal for focal points, stylised containers, or monochrome planting with a twist. Performs best when sheltered from harsh wind to protect the fringed edge.
