The double-flowering variant of tulip Queen of Night, Black Hero has the same distinctive black-purple colour making it one of the darkest of any tulip. This tulip will thrive when planted in a sunny, well drained spot in beds, borders, edging, gardens, pots, or as a cut flower. Combines well with light-coloured tulips such as Clearwater, Ang?lique, Blue Diamond or Mount Tacoma.
