Description
Tulip Beauty of Spring is a soft-toned Darwin Hybrid tulip with creamy yellow petals gently flamed with apricot and pink blush. Flowering mid-spring (April) at 50–60 cm, it delivers gentle warmth and elegance, especially suited to curated estate borders, high-end commercial grounds, or pastel-focused private gardens.
Thriving in full sun and well-drained, fertile soil, it tolerates both inland and coastal Irish conditions. Excellent in romantic or formal schemes, it partners beautifully with white Narcissus Thalia, blue Muscari, or pale pink Tulips like Apricot Impression. Plant in formal bands, loose drifts, or layered borders for refined visual depth.
Its open bloom allows occasional pollinator access, contributing modest biodiversity value, particularly in tandem with richer nectar sources. Ideal for pairing with long-blooming spring perennials to support hoverflies and early bees.
Beauty of Spring is also highly regarded for floristry—cut just before fully open for extended vase life. Low maintenance, long-lasting, and visually graceful, it’s an excellent choice for high-specification public or private planting.
