Description
Organic Narcissus Tete Rosette is a compact, fully double miniature daffodil with a delightfully intricate bloom structure. Each 15–20 cm stem carries a golden-yellow ruffled flower resembling a rosette or small peony, giving it a highly decorative, almost ornamental look in small-scale plantings. It’s a late-winter to early-spring bloomer, ideal for brightening up pots, window boxes, and raised borders during the greyest months.
Growing happily in full sun or partial shade, ‘Tete Rosette’ thrives in fertile, free-draining soils and is particularly well-suited to troughs, school planters, rockeries, green roofs, and graveyard edges. While not strongly scented, its open flower structure benefits early pollinators such as bumblebee queens and hoverflies. It forms dense, perennial clumps ideal for biodiversity-driven planting schemes and low-maintenance seasonal displays.
Pair with Crocus Ruby Giant, Iris J.S. Dijt, or Muscari armeniacum for a layered, cheerful spring palette. Excellent for public-facing containers, civic entrance beds, and educational green spaces.
