Description
Organic Narcissus Papillon Blanc is a sculptural, split-corona cultivar that combines dramatic form with restrained elegance. Mid-height stems hold ruffled, creamy-white blooms where flattened coronas unfurl into layered, camellia-like segments. Its star-like symmetry and subtle variation give it a high design value in reflective or structured planting schemes.
Growing to 35–45 cm, it’s best placed in loamy, well-drained soil with good organic content and moderate sun exposure. Its unscented but open-faced blooms offer feeding access to short-tongued bees and hoverflies in mild Irish springs. Ideal for use in organic courtyard schemes, memorial beds, school garden quiet spaces, or woodland border transitions.
Pairs effortlessly with white Muscari, Anemone blanda White Splendour, and Hyacinth White Pearl. Especially effective in eco-conscious gravel plantings, sensory bulb layers, or organic hospitality planting with a refined aesthetic.
