Description

Narcissus Martinette is a scented, cluster-flowered tazetta variety offering compact 30–40 cm stems bearing 3–6 small, rich golden flowers with a deep orange centre. Its spicy-citrus fragrance and lively colour make it an excellent choice for public planters, urban containers, and seasonal scent-driven schemes.

Performs best in full sun and well-drained, humus-enriched soil. Its multi-headed habit and early-mid flowering time create high visual and sensory impact with excellent resilience. Martinette supports early pollinators such as bees and hoverflies, particularly when grown in protected, sun-facing urban beds.

Pair with Hyacinth Jan Bos’ Scilla siberica, or dwarf tulips such as Danique or orphanidea Flava for extended interest and layered planting.
