Description
Organic Narcissus Garden Opera is a striking, multi-headed daffodil variety producing clusters of 3–5 blooms per stem, each featuring bright yellow petals and a rich yellow-orange, lightly frilled cup. Reaching 35–45 cm in height, it creates a vibrant, sun-warmed glow in mid-spring landscapes. Its compact form and vivid colouring give it exceptional visibility in both formal and informal settings — making it a favourite for organic municipal beds, school gardens, and naturalistic drifts.
Garden Opera thrives in full sun and moderately fertile, well-drained soil. It’s well adapted to both rural and urban planting schemes and tolerates heavier ground when improved with compost. The wide, open blooms are highly attractive to short-tongued bees, hoverflies, and early-season syrphid flies, especially when grouped in warm, sheltered borders.
Its bold yellow-orange tones harmonise beautifully with blue Muscari, white-flowering Hyacinth Carnegie, or Tulip Apricot Pride, offering strong tonal balance and extending the visual season. This variety is excellent for pollinator-supportive schemes, biodiversity corridors, and organic planting initiatives in community green spaces or roadside enhancements.
