Description
Leucojum aestivum Gravetye Giant, also known as snowbell, dewdrop or St. Agnes’ flower, produces beautiful white bells with a green dot on the outer petals. It flowers in April-May and will return year after year. This bulb is not fussy and likes either sun or deep shade in slightly moist soil. In the shade, where it is a bit cooler, it will bloom longer because the flowers cannot withstand the heat very well. Due to this flower’s adaptability, it is a favourite naturaliser, as well as being bee friendly.
