Description
Narcissus Lemon Beauty is a highly distinctive bi-colour daffodil with white, slightly swept-back petals and a deeply frilled lemon-yellow to pale-orange trumpet. The ruffled, textured cup is its standout feature, offering vibrant detail that shifts slightly in tone as the bloom matures, making it a great choice for high-traffic or high-visibility plantings.
It grows to around 40 cm and flowers mid to late spring. Strong stems and weather resistance allow it to perform well in exposed Irish gardens, raised beds, and council planters. It’s equally effective in front-of-border groupings or formalised bulb drifts.
The large open cup shape makes it ideal for bees and hoverflies, while its brightness enhances its role as a landing signal. Works well planted with blue Hyacinths, Anemone blanda, or pastel tulips in biodiversity-anchored mixed schemes.
A standout for civic beds, sensory planting zones, or public-facing mixed bulb areas seeking high colour variation and pollinator value.
