Description
Narcissus Frosty Snow is a refined, snow-white trumpet daffodil featuring broad, perfectly matched petals and a slightly flared yellow-white trumpet. It blooms in mid-spring at 35–40 cm tall and offers a clean, crisp aesthetic that suits modern urban designs, reflective gardens, and memorial planting schemes.
Its pure white colour holds well in Ireland’s cool, moist spring conditions, making it ideal for contemporary landscape palettes or light-reflective plantings along walkways, entrances, and formal lawns. Performs best in full sun and well-drained soils.
Though not as nectar-rich as some golden varieties, its accessible form allows pollinators like hoverflies and honeybees to gather pollen. For biodiversity schemes, it works best alongside early Crocus, Muscari, or native wildflower layers. Its neutral palette makes it a useful bridge plant between strong spring colours and softer perennial palettes.
