Description
Narcissus Flower Record is a poeticus-type daffodil celebrated for its elegant white petals and small yellow eye ringed in vivid red — offering crisp contrast and classical beauty. Flowering in late spring (April–May), it grows to 35–45 cm and naturalises well under trees, in meadows, or as part of extended-season bulb planting.
It thrives in sun or light shade and prefers moist, free-draining soils which makes it particularly valuable in Irish woodland edges, wildflower meadows, and damp valley gardens. A champion for biodiversity, Flower Record provides a key nectar and pollen source after most spring bulbs have faded, supporting bees, hoverflies, and pollinating beetles during a critical forage window.
A superb companion for Camassia, Fritillaria meleagris, and early Geranium species in wildlife corridors and climate-resilient perennial borders.
