Description
Narcissus February Silver brings a softer tone to the early bulb palette, producing ivory-white blooms with pale golden trumpets. A Cyclamineus-type cultivar, it mirrors the shape and form of February Gold but with a cooler, more refined colour scheme — ideal for high-end commercial landscaping or calm, reflective planting spaces.
Flowering from late February into March at 25–30 cm, it suits gravel gardens, modern courtyard beds, or heritage lawn borders where a touch of softness is required early in the season. Performs well in Irish climates, tolerating damp soils and fluctuating temperatures. Its compact habit and tidy foliage ensure it integrates well with both formal and naturalistic designs.
An excellent early pollen source for pollinators such as honeybees and hoverflies, especially valuable in semi-urban pollinator corridors or allotment margins. Combine with blue Scilla or Iris reticulata for rich early-season planting matrices.
