Narcissus Bridal Crown

Narcissus Bridal Crown

Fragrant, fully double narcissus with creamy-white and pale yellow petals. A romantic spring favourite for Irish containers and bouquets.

Description

Narcissus Bridal Crown is an exquisitely scented, double-flowered tazetta-type daffodil with layers of creamy-white petals and butter-yellow centres that slowly fade to ivory. Each stem bears clusters of 3–5 double blooms, giving it a luxurious and romantic appearance  Flowering in April, it grows to 30–35 cm, with sturdy stems and strong fragrance, making it ideal for high end retail, hotel gardens and container planting contracts.

It prefers full sun or sheltered partial shade and does best in rich, well-drained soil, especially in containers where its powerful scent can be enjoyed up close. Though not ideal for pollinators due to its full double form, it remains highly popular for ornamental planting, boutique gardens , and event displays. Bridal Crown pairs well with pastel tulips, Muscari White Magic, or Anemone blanda in romantic spring compositions. Plant with Hyacinth Carnegie, Muscari Joyce Spirit or Tulip Finola for fragrant spring layers.
