Narcissus Avalon

Narcissus Avalon

Large Cupped

Description

Narcissus Avalon is a large-cupped daffodil that has large blooms that are initially yellow in early spring, but the colour changes to a soft creamy lemon as it matures. This daffodil looks great planted in generous drifts through beds and borders, in pots, under trees or it can also be used to naturalise in areas of taller grass verges, lawn edges, hedgerows or banks. Best planted in full sun but will tolerate light shade, in a moist but free-draining soil. Combines well with other early flowering bulbs such as crocus, scilla, chionodoxa and puschkinia. Allow foliage to die down naturally as this ensures nourishment for the next seasons growth.
