Mixture Volendam is a landscape-focused spring bulb mixture intended to simplify specification while still delivering a planted scheme that looks designed rather than random. This mixture is led by daffodils, alliums, and camassia, supported by yellow tones, so the individual bulb groups remain clear rather than disappearing into a vague mixed display. Within the planting, bee and butterfly friendly in second phase. Flowering period 1, February – April, various yellow daffodils. Flowering period 2, May – June, alliums and camassia. Very suitable for verges with rough vegetation. Flowering moves in sequence through February – April, various yellow daffodils, May – June, alliums and camassia, February – April, and May – June. It is also butterfly-friendly, making it useful where pollinator value is part of the planting brief.
