Description
Lilium Manitoba Morning is radiant and refreshing — creamy yellow blooms bleeding outwards into soft pink to rose-red tips, sometimes with delicate speckling for added texture. A classic garden palette that fits naturally into cottage borders, herbaceous gardens, hotel plantings, seasonal displays and pollinator-friendly schemes. Flowering in early/mid-summer, it brings colour when many perennials are still climbing to peak. Lightly scented and excellent for cutting, producing stems that hold shape well in vases. As an open lily, it offers good pollen access for hoverflies and beneficial insects, especially when combined with Echinacea, Rudbeckia, Allium and meadow mixes. Plant in sun or light shade, improve drainage where soils are heavy, and mulch annually for vigour. Works beautifully in drifts or clusters, giving layered colour from June onward.
