Description
The white Asiatic Lily ‘Kent’ is a beautiful flower with its brilliantly crisp white colour and green centre. Lilies are very suitable for flower pots, planters or in groups between perennials and shrubs. The planting depth is between 10 and 15 cm but before planting, ensure the soil is airy and permeable to moisture. Plant lilies sheltered from the wind near a sunny area next to a fence or between plants and shrubs. Lily bulbs may be planted in the spring, around April-May, or in the fall, October-November. In the event of frost, it is best to protect bulbs and any shoots that may have emerged with leaves or branches. After flowering, they can remain in the ground and will come back to full bloom year after year, however, it is recommended to transplant lilies every 3 to 4 years as they get renewed energy from the new soil.
