Ipheion uniflorum

Ipheion uniflorum

Description

Ipheion uniflorum, or Spring Starflower, has light silvery blue to white 6-pointed, star-shaped flowers with loose, strappy blue-green leaves. Even though this plant tolerates drought and likes to be in the sun, it should be planted in moist but well drained gardens, rock gardens, borders, beds, containers or as underplanting for roses and shrubs or through grassy areas or under trees.
