Description
Ipheion uniflorum, or Spring Starflower, is a versatile and hardy bulb producing starry soft blue to pale lilac blooms in March and April. Perfect for cottage gardens, wildflower-style lawns, and urban planting pockets, it pairs well with Muscari armeniacum, Narcissus Tête-à-Tête, and early Crocus. The flowers are subtly scented, drawing in early pollinators, and the grass-like foliage remains tidy even after flowering. Once established, this bulb will gently naturalise, bringing dependable low-maintenance colour to Irish gardens each spring.
