Description
Hyacinth Multiflora Blue features soft, sky-to-lavender blue blooms on multiple stems per bulb offering excellent flower coverage and fragrance. Unlike traditional single-stemmed hyacinths, this multiflora form spreads its colour over several upright spikes, giving a fuller, more relaxed appearance. It’s ideal for naturalising in lawns, lightly shaded woodland margins, and under deciduous shrubs. Uniform growth and low maintenance makes it highly suited for urban spaces, commercial entrances, and public borders seeking colour continuity with minimal input. Stunning in pots or grouped in the border.
The lighter blue tone pairs beautifully with Narcissus Thalia, Chionodoxa forbesii, Tulip tarda or Scilla siberica alba. Although not a top pollinator plant, it may attract the occasional early forager. Best planted in free-draining soil with protection from waterlogging.
