Description
Hyacinth Gipsy Queen stands out with its unique coppery-apricot tones, a rare colour in hyacinths that brings warmth and vibrancy to the spring garden. Its large flower spikes emit a strong, sweet fragrance and rise to around 25 cm, offering bold colour early in the season. Ideal for mixed herbaceous borders, cottage-style schemes, or transitional spring-to-summer beds, it pairs well with Narcissus Thalia or Muscari latifolium.
Gipsy Queen’s novel hue makes it especially valuable in warm-toned urban spaces, hospitality landscaping, or containerised front-door displays. Although hyacinths aren’t known for high nectar output, this variety may still attract early foragers if conditions are favourable.
Requires fertile, well-drained soil and full sun to partial shade.
