Description
Hyacinth Carnegie is a pristine white cultivar with densely packed, snowy florets on sturdy, upright stems. Its pure colouring makes it exceptionally versatile, working well in monochrome schemes or combined with bolder tones like Tulip ‘urple Prince’or Scilla siberica. At just 20–25 cm tall, it’s suitable for edging formal beds, container displays, or under deciduous shrubs.
In Irish gardens, Carnegie thrives in well-drained soil with good light exposure. Though not a primary pollinator draw, its early bloom may still support incidental visits from emerging solitary bees.
