Description
A varied mixture of 30 purple and white so-called “Snakes Head Fritillarias”. Fritillaria meleagris are attractive in flower meadows, verges, edging in beds or drifts, and contrasts nicely with purple or white muscari or chionodoxa. They do well in pots on a terrace or balcony. The bulbs are very sensitive to drying out so it is advisable to plant them immediately upon receipt. The best place to plant should be moist, rich in humus and well-drained areas. Highly popular for naturalizing and its nectar rich flowers are attractive to bees.
