Description
Echinacea ‘White Swan’ is also called ‘Coneflower’. The Echinacea ‘White Swan’ produces showy flowers in summer. They stand out for their size and colours: a combination of an orange-brown heart surrounded by contrasting white petals. Also when the flower has finished flowering and the discoloured white leaves hang down, this flower still has ornamental value. An additional attraction is that during flowering countless bumblebees and butterflies come and go. Height 70-80 cm. The Echinacea is suitable for sunny positions and fertile soil that is not too wet. Give this plant a 3 to 4 cm layer of compost every fall so it doesn’t have to fight too hard with other species for nutrients.
